Total Denbighshire UKSPF Funding:
£531,000
Project Lead:

A project funded by Denbighshire County Council via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to increase digital inclusion and essential digital skills across Denbighshire has delivered outstanding results and impact across the community.
CWMPAS delivered a comprehensive series of training sessions, workshops, courses, and drop-in events in both urban and rural locations, available in Welsh and English. They worked closely with local community partners such as charities, community groups, and the local authority to maximise the available funding and reach wider benefits.
Since November 2023, the project has supported over 730 individuals to develop essential digital skills, including:
- An individual who received support to reconnect with their musical hobby using GarageBand
- A young homeless mother gaining access to college courses
- A former teacher gaining confidence to use a smartphone for the first time
Additionally, 217 individuals achieved a digital qualification, with many progressing into employment or further training.
This support has helped tackle loneliness, build digital confidence, and improve access to key services such as healthcare, housing, and education.
