Wrexham Fund

Project summary: Wrexham has launched its own dedicated Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) for 2025–26, enabling both new and existing projects to apply for support. A total of £7.15 million has been awarded to 24 projects and five strategic Key Funds, supporting a wide range of initiatives across business growth, community development, skills, and innovation. The Key Funds have been established to ensure smaller-scale projects can access grants under £50,000, broadening the reach and impact of the programme. Projects funded this year include support for local businesses, cultural initiatives, education providers, and community organisations—demonstrating the diversity and ambition of Wrexham’s SPF programme. From digital innovation and manufacturing to youth services and heritage, the investment reflects a strong commitment to inclusive and place-based growth. This final year of SPF delivery in Wrexham is focused on maximising impact, strengthening partnerships, and preparing the ground for future investment opportunities.
