Overview 2025/26

The extension to the Shared Prosperity Fund for 2025/26 continues to be prioritise;

  • Communities and Place
  • Supporting Local Businesses
  • People and Skills

This time the UK Government has outlined an ambitious plan for change that focuses on five national Missions: ambitious, measurable, long-term objectives that give the country a strong sense of purpose.

  • Mission 1: Driving economic growth
  • Mission 2: Make Britain a clean energy powerhouse
  • Mission 3: Reclaiming our streets
  • Mission 4: Breaking down barriers to opportunity
  • Mission 5: Creating an NHS fit for the future

Projects will no longer report activity under the 2022-25 interventions. Instead for 2025-26, the UK Government has linked existing interventions to Mission-led themes across the three priority areas: Communities and Place; supporting local businesses; and People and Skills

These Missions will be implemented through mission-led themes and sub-themes.
